A strange summer indeed..... our wheat harvest was tricky, but given the weather we've has this summer, we should be pleased with our 70 bushel yield.

This makes 2009 a little under our 5 year average.... but certainly not bad at all...

How did others do ?

About 85 bu in the north west area of Huron Cty. Neighbours had anywhere from 40+ up to 80. The further away got up to 100+ (far and few between) but the bulk of the good fields ran just over the 85 bu. My avg - about 80.
Probably be a different story when we get to the soybeans... not good.
well we had around a 70 bushle yeild too
but some of the later harvested white weat and soft red had sprouts and fussarium fairly bad
