Ontario Agriculture

The network for agriculture in Ontario, Canada

We are interested in continuing some research and are in need of some satellite maps.

Does anyone know where one can view satellite maps of Ontario crops. (such as Google earth maps)

We are would like to view maps of Southern Ontario for the years 2010 & 2011 with the optimum months of July/August.

Anyone know of a reliable source to obtain those satellite maps?

thank you in advance.

Hi, Joann

This is not my field, but i have colleagues who work with satellite and radar info in their research. I will ask if the images from 2010-11 are available [there may be a time delay on these]. Please contact me via email with any detail you can give me about the purpose of the research, when you need these, etc.

Hi Joann,

Were you able to find satellite maps from previous years?  It would be neat to compare how the crops looked from year to year.  Let me know if you were able to source some and the details if you don't mind.

Thanks,

RR
