DESCRIPTION:The Ontario Forage Council is proud to announce our upcomi
 ng annual Forage Focus Conference 2018, For the first time, this confe
 rence will be held in Stratford, at the Stratford Rotary Complex on Th
 ursday, December 6, 2018.\nThe program begins with registration and tr
 ade show, from 9 - 10 am, and speakers until 3:30pm.  Presentations a
 re CEU accredited.  The cost of this years’ conference is $40, and 
 includes conference proceedings and a hot lunch.\nThe keynote speaker 
 at Forage Focus 2018 will be Michael Hutjens. Mike Hutjens was raised 
 on a 313 acre, 70 cow grade Holstein farm near Green Bay, Wisconsin. 
  His bachelor's degree was completed in 1967 at the University of Wisc
 onsin, and his master's degree involved mastitis detection. In 1971, h
 e earned his joint doctorate degree in dairy science and nutritional s
 cience with a minor in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Ma
 dison.\nHe has authored 21 technical journal articles and abstracts, 5
 40 popular press articles, 3 computer programs, 4 video tapes, and num
 erous slide sets. He co-authored a four booklets with Hoards Dairyman 
 in the 4th edition of “Feeding Guide” in 2018 in book and e-book f
 ormats.  \n \nBooks of 10 tickets are available to treat customers,
  or staff.  Registration deadline is November 30, 2018.  Registratio
 ns will be accepted at the door but may not include the hot lunch.  R

 pted by phone.  Please make cheques payable to the Ontario Forage Cou
 ncil.\nTradeshow and sponsorship opportunities are still available for
