  workshop was organized to address the need for producers to develop b
 usiness plans to access the Hog Industry Loan Loss Reserve Program (HI
 LLRP). Not only will producers require a viable business plan, but som
 e financial institutions are also requesting your cost of production a
 long with your cash flow over the short and long term. The Oxford Coun
 ty Pork Producers Association at their October board meeting felt it w
 as necessary to host a workshop specifically for pork producers. Space
  is limited to a maximum of 30 participants. Lunch will be provided.\n
 \nDo you want to access the Hog Industry Loan Loss Reserve Program but
  haven’t started your business plan?\n\nWill you have trouble afford
 ing the fee for someone else or don’t have time to do your business 
 plan?\n\nAre you unsure whether you should take the loan or the transi
 tion funding?\n\nDo you want other options that allow for diversificat
 ion?\n\nAre you having difficulty as a family agreeing to a short and 
 long term plan?\n\nThen access the Farm Financial Assessment ….\n\n\
 nThere are two ways to do this:\n\nAttend a Growing Your Farm Profits

  our area\n\nIMPORTANT NOTE: Completing the workshop will allow you ac
 cess to a Farm Business Assessment and the other cost share opportunit
 ies possible.\n\n\n\nAccess the Farm Business Assessment immediately\n
 Special Circumstances - Financial Difficulty – ONLY allowed to acces
 s the Farm Financial Assessment cost share opportunity\n\n• Producer
 s in immediate financial difficulty can access the financial assessmen
 t before completing the GYFP process using the Program-led option only
 .\n\n• Will be required to complete the Growing Your Farm Profits wo
 rkshop before accessing additional Business Development for Farm Busin
 esses programming.\n\n• OMAFRA staff will determine a farm businessâ
 €™s eligibility under financial difficulty on a case-by-case basis\n\n
 • $100 producer cost share for Farm Financial Assessment will be wai

 nancial Assessment\nFarm Financial Assessment\nBased on the Action Pla
 n, you may decide to access a professional Farm Financial Advisor who 
 will review the farm business' past financial performance, analyze the
  current business situation, discuss objectives, and help to identify 
 options to meet farm business profitability goals.\n\nThe program cove
 rs up to $2400 of eligible costs to hire an Advisor to complete an Ass
 essment. The participant pays $100.\n\nAgriculture Skills Development\
 nAdvanced Business Planning\nBusiness Plan Implementation\nAll cost-sh
 are funds are available on a first come, first served basis up to the
