DESCRIPTION:The Ontario Forage Council (OFC), along with Huron County 
 and Eastern Valley Soil and Crop Improvement Associations will be co-h
 osting Forage Expo 2024 - Forage Equipment Demonstrations and Trade Sh
 ow.\r\nThe Huron County event will happen on Thursday, July 4, 2024, 1
 0 am to 3 pm at 43843 Harriston Road, Gorrie, the farm of Mark Horst a
 nd family.\r\nThe Eastern Valley event will happen on Friday, July 12,
  2024, 10 am to 3 pm at 1781 St. Isidore Road, St. Isidore, the farm o
 f Thomas Haerle and family. This event will be bilingual.\r\nThis year
 ’s demonstrations will include equipment from the leaders in forage 
 production equipment. Attendees will not only have the chance to see w
 hat’s new for 2024 but will also have the unique opportunity to witn
 ess this equipment in head-to-head field trials! Equipment will includ
 e various mowers, conditioners, rakes, tedders, windrow inverters, mer
 gers, harvesters, dump wagons, large round balers, large square balers
 , and a small square bale bundler. This event will provide the opportu
 nity for farmers to view the latest technology available to harvest fo
 rage quickly with minimal loss and maximum quality. Ian McDonald and C
 hristine O’Reilly, OMAFRA will be in the field, working with the equ
 ipment companies to provide information to farmers and answer question
 s. This is important in making decisions on investments which ultimate
 ly enhance their farm operations in capacity, minimizing harvest losse
 s, product quality and profitability.\r\nThis is a FREE event! Lunch w
 ill be available for purchase on-site, and no pre-registration is requ
 ired.\r\nTrade show, equipment demonstration, and sponsorship opportun
 ities are still available for this event. Spaces are limited and will
