 coming Dr. Temple Grandin to Guelph. Dr. Grandin is a famed animal beh
 aviorist, author, professor of animal science at Colorado State Univer
 sity and autism awareness advocate.\n \nDr. Grandin is a world-renown
 ed inspiration to people with autism for her work as an animal behavio
 rist. Dr. Grandin has developed humane livestock handling systems, and
  has worked as a consultant to the livestock handling industry on anim
 al care standards. She has, in addition, designed processing facilitie
 s in which half the cattle in the United States are handled while work
 ing for Burger King, McDonalds, Swift and others.\nDr. Grandin was nam
 ed by Time Magazine as one of 2010’s “100 most influential People 
 in the World”. HBO also produced the award-winning biographical film
  on her life entitled Temple Grandin. She currently speaks around the 
 world on both autism and animal behaviour.\n \nEvent details:\nThe ev
 ent will be held on August 27 at the University of Guelph’s War Memo
 rial Hall. Dr. Grandin’s talk begins at 7:00 p.m. and will be follow
 ed by a Q&A session and a reception with Dr. Grandin begins at 8:00 p.
 m. Attendees are welcome to bring their copies of Dr. Grandin’s book
 s to have them autographed.\n \nTickets are $50 each (includes a $20 
 charitable receipt) or $30 for students. Free parking will also be pro
