DESCRIPTION:\r\nStarting a farm in Ontario can be a daunting task. Eri
 ch Weber of OMAFRA will present this course, which will walk you throu
 gh the different stages that you will have to deal with when trying to
  start your new farm business.\r\nThis course is broken into three dif
 ferent webinars:\r\n\r\nMarch 16, 2023 the course will focus on people
  who are interested in starting a crop based farm (ie. corn, soybeans
 , grapes, apples, etc.).\r\nMarch 23, 2023 the course will focus on pe
 ople who are interested in starting a livestock based farm (ie. beef,
  turkey, sheep, goat, etc.).\r\nMarch 30, 2023 the course will focus o
 n people who are interested in starting a farm business that will sell
  their products direct to the consumer.\r\n\r\nThe three webinars will
  start at 7 pm on each day and will go for approximately 2 hours and w
 ill cover such topics as:\r\n\r\nBusiness planning\r\nFinancing option
 s\r\nTax considerations\r\nCommodity/farm organizations and how they c
 an help you.\r\n\r\nOn April 15, 2023 you are invited to attend a free
  in person trade show where you can meet with different professionals
  across the agriculture industry who can help you make your future far
 m business succeed. The in person trade show will be held at the Rockl
