DESCRIPTION:On October 23, 2014, SV Enterprises will be holding an ope
 n house and product launch.  Their heat exchangers, which earned them
  a Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence, will be fron
 t and center as a tool for hog producers to improve their bottom line.
   Simply reclaim heat from exhaust air to save on propane and enhanc
 e the atmosphere in the barn. \nThe event will be starting at 5:00  
 pm and running as long as people stay…. food and beverages will be s
 erved, with an emphasis on local products such as Ontario Pork Produce
 rs bacon burgers,  fresh apples, and other fall treats. \n \n“In 
 my farming experience, working with, rather than against the situation
 s is one of the keys to success.  I see the recapture of heat from th
 e exhaust air in a pig barn as an opportunity just like that.  We now
  have the ingredients to make it a workable solution, and helping farm
 ers to succeed will be one of the keys to our success” says Ron Van 
 Bakel.\n \nThe products are wholly Canadian made and local.  Plastic
  sheet is now sourced from Ideal Polymers in Thorndale, Ontario, and s
 tainless fasteners from Inteq Industrial in Exeter.  Over the years, 
 the processes have been refined and improved and new products added to
  the stable to make SV a leader in ventilation of agricultural buildin
 gs. \n \nThe open house is being held at 4580 Road 140, Perth East,
