 ons of dollars per year.  The loss of livestock can be especially tra
 umatic for the farm family and for first responders that attend the sc
 ene.  It is estimated that 40% of the fires begin with electrical fai
 lure. OMAFRA’s Jacqui Empson Laporte will demonstrate a FLIR camera 
 that fits on your smartphone to help you identify electrical problems 
 BEFORE they turn into something tragic. She will also explain the came
 ra lending program that helps people use the technology, and explain h
 ow it fits with more detailed inspections by insurance companies.  Jo
 hn Van de Vegte, OMAFRA, will explain how fires start and how preventa
