 ecture & Reception on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the London
  Convention Centre in London, Ontario.\n\nAs former Chief of the Defen
 ce Staff, Canada’s highest ranking position in the Canadian Forces, 
 Hillier oversaw Canada’s most important mission in Afghanistan. His 
 35-year military career saw him command Canadian troops from the plato
 on to multi-national formation level within Canada, Europe, Asia and t
 he United States.\n\nHis passion, leadership and outspoken nature has 
 captured the hearts and minds of Canadians across the country. General
  Rick Hillier challenges convention and inspires leadership with his t
 rademark Newfoundland charm and humour, and will present “Leadership
  Traits and Leader Responsibilities” at the 2011 Stewart Lecture.\n\
 n“General Hillier is a truly outstanding leader, and is widely sough
