Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario — FedNor - The residents and businesses of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek are one step closer to accessing new growth and job opportunities thanks to a Government of Canada investment of $220,643. The FedNor funding will enable the community to complete design and engineering plans for a proposed light industrial/commercial park to be located on reserve land, 19 kilometres west of downtown Sudbury on the shores of Lake Panache.

To ensure its growth, it will receive a repayable contribution of $125,000 from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. With this financial assistance, the company will be able to complete a project that will improve its competitiveness by acquiring leading-edge technologies to support its growth in local and international markets.

OPC Press Release

The Ontario Pork Congress (OPC) is excited to host the 46th annual trade show on June 19th and 20th, 2019 at the Stratford Rotary Complex. We want to acknowledge the concern that has been raised with regards to African Swine Fever, and what this means for the OPC event in Ontario.
