Help Wanted: Crop Farm Production Operator, Blaney Grain Farms, Milton, Ontario.

 

Blaney Grain Farms is a large progressive farming operation based in Milton, Ontario.

-          Cash crop farm: Corn, soybeans and winter wheat.

-          Operates large new John Deere equipment and precision technology.

 

Farm Operator Position Responsibilities:

-          Work with the BGF team to execute the annual crop plan.

-          Complete farming activities including but not limited to: Planting, tillage, spraying, scouting, harvesting, fertilizing and trucking.

-          Operate the John Deere equipment: CCS1790, 9460R, 4830

-          This is a year round, full time position with seasonal demands at planting and harvest.

-          Timely maintenance and repair of all farm equipment.

-           

Qualifications for the position:

-          2 years direct farming experience

-          Can do attitude

-          Knowledge and can safely operate late model John Deere farm machinery

-          Valid Driver’s licence required,  AZ preferable.

-          John Deere AMS Familiarity

First few weeks into the SS400+ road show, interest keeps rising across every stop. Dealers and growers in Ontario, Michigan, and Indiana shared strong feedback. US and the World It is that time of year when farmers reach the proverbial finish line, of getting that crop in the bin. The harvest of 2025 has been abundant, and it is also taking place in a very timely fashion with very good weather across the North American corn belt. At the same time there’s been a bit of a dearth of market information as the US government shutdown has meant very little in terms of information coming out from USDA. However, this all changed on November the 14th when despite the continuing governing shutdown, the USDA released their latest WASDE report.
