You are NOT alone, but your views are not limited to animal farming. I am a vegetable farmer, and we are constantly having to compete with cheaper (less safe) imports from trading partners with questionable farming practices. We are expected to absorb all of the costs associated with producing safe, healthy produce, follow stringent human rights laws for workers, etc., yet, it seems, some of our trading partners are not required to follow the same rules in their own countries. Consumers, God bless them, don't know the realities that farmers (all sectors) face providing them with cheap, healthy food. I try to educate them one at a time. Some people really get it though!!
