Ontario Agriculture

The network for agriculture in Ontario, Canada

We are in Kossuth County Iowa South East on highway 15 this area has the worst time planting crops with too much moisture crops are smaller particularly soybeans which were planted late and corn is short and very uneven. We did see some land that was abandoned but properly not enough to make a difference in total harvested acres. Notice the yellow area in the photo below being stress by moisture. It is very hot today 34 plus degrees Celsius and we have not seen any rain on our tour yet.
