Event Description

Join OSCIA and Peter Kotzeff for an informative pasture walk and presentation and explore the agro-ecological benefits of integrated practices like rotational grazing and cover cropping, such as improved biodiversity and species at risk habitat protection, enhanced soil and water quality, nutrient cycling and mitigating net greenhouse gas emissions.

Participants will also hear from:

  • Andrew Campomizzi, Research Scientist, Birds Ecology Conservation Ontario
  • Kim Schneider, Assistant Professor in Forage and Service Crops, University of Guelph
