Ken Strawbridge, Marketing Business Consultant understands big business and will be making a presentation – ‘Identifying Stakeholders is one thing……Connecting them is everything!”



Elbert van Donkersgoed P.Ag.(Hon), Terra Coeur – Services for Good Food & Farming knows our consumer and will present – ‘Building Blocks for Farmer Value from Marketing Pork’.



Bill Jeffery, Perth County Beef Producers will speak briefly on the Grassroots Movement within their Industry. A lot of pork producers will be able to relate to our fellow beef producers.



JoAnne Caughill, Grassroots Pork Group will speak briefly on this Group’s search for a strategy in pork production.





Open Forum



This open forum will give attendees a chance to ask questions.



Ontario Pork has called an All Delegates Meeting for September 22nd/09 to address the Industry Crisis.



Pork producers will have an opportunity to make ‘constructive’ recommendations and comments to our Representatives who will be representing all pork producers at the September 22nd Meeting.

Ag Transport Coalition: rail performance a repeat of the previous week

The Ag Transport Coalition reports week 18 saw a repeat of the system performance seen in week 17, with CN and CPKC Rail combined supplying 87% of hopper cars ordered. While system performance remained unchanged, performance did change for the two railways individually as compared to the prior week.
