Event Description

OFAC and AGCare will host a joint annual meeting on April 5. Charlie Arnott, Centre for Food Integrity in the U.S. will be the keynote speaker discussing the topic of "Size Matters - Why we love to hate big food and why we need it to feed the world and save the planet".

The second speaker will be Paul Hodgeman of Alberta. Paul is working with Canada's agri food industry to develop a national strategy for farm issues. He will be talking on the topic of "Making Ready for the Phantom Menace: Farmers, the Food Industry and Activists."

The day will also include a review of the groups' 2010 projects and an update and discussion on the OFAC/AGCare amalgamation process.
