2012 Farm Show

This year's show expanded to more than 250,000 square feet of show space as we grew the show into the state-of-the-art Agriplex facility. There were hundreds of products/services, expert guest speakersin the Auditorium, and hands-on equipment demonstrations in the PRIDE Seeds Arena.

It's a big show and we'll help you get around in our complimentary Syngenta shuttle providing easy access to the Agriplex.

USDA Announces Approval of D-SNAP for Virginia Disaster Areas

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that people recovering from Tropical Storm Helene may be eligible for food assistance through USDA’s Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP). Approximately 22,858 households in nine counties are estimated to be eligible for this relief to help with grocery expenses.

Research across the Midwest has shown that early-planted soybean have greater yield potential compared to those planted later. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Risk Management Agency in 2023 worked with Science for Success Soybean Specialists across the country and shifted the earliest soybean-planting date in states where data was available.
