A Parent's Worst Nightmare....Perth County Toddler Killed in Farm Accident...

A farmyard mishap has claimed the life of a Perth County youngster.

Police say two-year-old Scott Martin was seriously injured by haying equipment in the farm yard yesterday morning along Perth Line 88, west of Listowel.

The child had been playing around a heavy, solid steel hay bail attachment which fell on top of him.

The little boy was rushed to Listowel Memorial Hospital by ambulance, but died a short time later.
The OPP and the Coroner are continuing to investigate.

 

 

 

What a terrible tragedy....our sympathies to the family on their loss.
