A farmyard mishap has claimed the life of a Perth County youngster.

The child had been playing around a heavy, solid steel hay bail attachment which fell on top of him.

The little boy was rushed to Listowel Memorial Hospital by ambulance, but died a short time later.
The OPP and the Coroner are continuing to investigate.
