I just wanted to say that as a freelance farm writer/broadcaster, I have been looking for an easy and effective means to network. I tried Facebook, but that didn't work for me. However, this site seems to fit the bill perfectly. It is also very professional and informative.

I was a big user and supporter of the ontag list server and the ontag the bullpen this is way better with being able to just read and organize the discussions and the private email capability. well done and long may it continue

1776 Pork Chop Salute to Celebrate America 250 During Iowa State Fair

For generations of fairgoers, a visit to the Iowa State Fair has been synonymous with one specific food item: the Pork Chop on a Stick ™. The Iowa Pork Producers Association sells tens of thousands of them each year during the fair. This summer, that tradition will take on an extra measure of patriotic pride as the Iowa Pork Producers Association presents the 1776 Pork Chop Salute – A Taste of America 250.
