The network for agriculture in Ontario, Canada

Just wondering what everyone thought of this year's FarmSmart conference and what they found interesting and valuable.

Thanks,

By all accounts this year's conference was the best yet--beating all of our previous records.  The agri-business industry stepped up to the plate to help the Golden Horseshoe and Heartland Soil and Crop Improvement Associations, in partnership with the Ontario Agriculture College, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) to deliver a top-notch program. Trade show space sold out five weeks before the event and attendance surpassed all previous records!  Attendees report that they were well satisfied with the day.  As organizers, we couldn't ask for more.  Thanks to all our supporters and to all the farmers and ag-business partners for attending.  CTV News and The Guelph Mercury have already filed stories; look for more reports in Ontario Farmer and the Golden Horseshoe and Heartland SCIA newsletters. ~ Anne Howden Thompson.
