I am wondering how much of my Nitro would be lost to the atmosphere and how much is actually available to the crop. My preferred method would be to use anhydrous and inject into the soil, kinda tricky with wheat planted at 7' spacing. What do you do?

I would talk to your local dealer's agronomist about what they think.

We have gone away from anhydrous but it likely will save you a few dollars per acre.

Good luck.

Here a video on some thoughts on Nitrogen Fertilizer from some leading farmers and agronomists.
