The NDP might take enough of the votes to help the Conservatives.

 

It looks like the NDP are the big winners with the huge gains in Quebec at the BQ's expense.

 

Liberals are in terrible shape...

Joe - If that were the real reason, why would Harper and the Conservatives gain so much ground?

Hi John,

I am not sure what happened yesterday?

It looks like Ontario did not want an NDP government and moved away from the Liberals.

I am not sure if everyone loves Harper or they (40%) think he is the best choice for the economy right now.

The people of Quebec just got tired of the BQ and their lack of leadership other than separation...

Layton did run a good campaign and he likely has the strongest personal appeal.
