Ontario Assessment Appeal Based on Nearby Wind Farm Could Blow Acro...

"Do wind farms drive down the prices of nearby homes? That question is at the heart of a potentially precedent-setting two-day property value review, which began Tuesday in eastern Ontario."

It seems curious that the "un-salebility" of affected homes was not included in the review. Would that not affect the outcome?

One could also conclude from the comments of the Canadian Wind Energy Association that the presence of wind turbines contributes to an increase in real estate values. It's all in the spin . . .

The article was most likely aboutt a wind farm and not a brop or agricultural farm so it was mostly likely posted and then reviewed.
