In celebration of AALP's 40th year, AALP Class 19 & 20 are excited to announce the theme of the 2024 AALP Dream Gala is the Roaring Twenties?

The Rural Ontario Institute (ROI) is pleased to announce this year’s Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP) Dream Gala and Auction will be held on April 13, 2024. AALP Class 19 and Class 20 invite you to experience a night of elegance in “The Roaring Twenties.”

This year AALP is celebrating 40 years of building top ag-sector leaders and will welcome over 300 of the province’s agriculture enthusiasts to celebrate while supporting leadership development. This year’s event features a semi-formal dinner and live auction at the Delta Hotel in Guelph.

Provincial Investment in RMP Strengthens Ontario’s Beef Sector

The Beef Farmers of Ontario (BFO) and its members are thrilled to learn of the Government of Ontario’s decision to increase their annual investment in the Ontario Risk Management Program (RMP) by $100 million. The announcement, to raise the provincial investment from $150 million to $250 million, which will be phased in over three years, was made this morning by Rob Flack, Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness at a farm in Elgin County, and reflects a request that BFO and its allied members of the Ontario Agriculture Sustainability Coalition (OASC) have been promoting for several years.

Grain Farmers of Ontario Congratulates Ontario Government for New Investment in Ontario Risk Management Program

Grain Farmers of Ontario, the province’s largest commodity organization, representing Ontario’s 28,000 barley, corn, oat, soybean, and wheat farmers, welcomes news from the Ontario government and Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food, and Agribusiness (OMAFA) that $100 million will be added to the Ontario Risk Management Program (RMP) and the Self-Directed Risk Management Program (SDRM) over the next three years.
