Event Description

This workshop covers fundamental knowledge and reviews the design, installation, and evaluation of residential and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The solar training includes the use of various tools and techniques, solar electric component operation and connection, system design and sizing, financial modelling, safety practices including fall arrest and other standard requirements and practices.

The course guides students from system fundamentals to advanced mechanical and electrical concepts in accordance with code, regulations and safety.

This workshop is designed for beginners and professionals alike: electricians, HVAC technicians, carpenters, contractors, engineers or manufacturer and distributor representatives.
