Event Description

The 2011 OIA Conference & 52nd AGM will take place on April 8 & 9, 2011 at the Four Points Sheraton in London, Ontario.  This year's program will offer a broad perspective on "What Has Changed in Agrology?"  All OIA members and guests are cordially invited to attend.

To register, please download the Conference Brochure and return the Registration portion to the OIA office, with payment in full, by mail, fax or email.

USDA Announces Approval of D-SNAP for Virginia Disaster Areas

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that people recovering from Tropical Storm Helene may be eligible for food assistance through USDA’s Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP). Approximately 22,858 households in nine counties are estimated to be eligible for this relief to help with grocery expenses.
