Event Description

Anyone wishing to purchase a membership or obtain books and tags may do so at the Fairgrounds Office. Entries for ALL exhibits will be received at the Exhibition Hall on Wednesday, August 12th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm only.

RRVAS requires workers for the Fair. Gates, Exhibition Hall, and Parking Attendants please call Laura Haglin at 487-1888.

Advance midway tickets are on sale at the above locations until Wednesday evening August 12th then at the fair office until Thursday evening August 13th - $28.00 a savings of $5.00.

Gate admission is $3.00 per person per day. You do not need advanced midway tickets to enter the fairgrounds. You can pay your $3.00 admission at the gate.

EMILI is collecting non-perishable Harvest Manitoba donations during Field Day, July 15

EMILI is celebrating its tenth birthday during EMILI Field Day on July 15, and as part of the celebrations, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for Harvest Manitoba. EMILI staff will be collecting donations during Field Day. A link to donate is also available. Throughout the year, EMILI works with innovators to test and validate technology in crops such as potato, wheat, oats, barley, corn, canola, soybeans, and peas. These crops ultimately become food on the tables of Manitoba families. But food instability is an issue for many people. Harvest Manitoba is committed to addressing food insecurity and poverty in Manitoba. The organization reports 62% of families go hungry once a month or more because they can not afford food. Feeding over 108,000 Manitobans per month, Harvest Manitoba is one of the largest food distributors of its kind in Canada.
