We are looking to add a small cabin on my dads farm so my family can move back home as he ages. Does anybody have any tips on dealing with the planning department. We are looking to add a 650sq ft cabin

Every local planning department handles things differently from my experience - can sever lots in some area, not in others...

It might be easier to add a trailer?
