Ontario Agriculture

The network for agriculture in Ontario, Canada

Hi Everyone!
I am working on a calender for the 2010 IPM that is featuring the Queen's of the Furrow who will be competing at the match this year. I want this edition to focus on Women in Agriculture and their achievements. I have a few starter resources but the findings so far are slim. If anyone has any advice, facts, info... anything your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in adavance,
Mackenna Roth

Hi Mackenna:

Here are a couple of women leaders in Ontario you may want to touch base with.

Carol Mitchell, Minister of Agriculture

Bette Jean Crews, President of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture.

Other OntAg Members might have some other leaders for you to talk to.

Hope this helps,
