I am hearing some big selling prices but wondered if they are real.

Here two guys bid up 100 acres in Perth County to $10K+/acre.  Really???

What is land selling for in your area?

@OntAg In Chatham-Kent #Ontario this year, we've had the best farmland trade for $10,000-$14,000 an acre... bit.ly/chA7d0

@Agridome @OntAg $10k/acres sounds cheep for perth county. nieghbour's farm sold for 550000 for 50 acres in 2006

(Sebringville, Ontario)

Lots of rumours of prices, seems like lots of interested buyers but not too many sellers.

Might slow down the demand with the prospects of lower grain prices.
