Event Description

Capital Hoedown is a three-day annual Country Music Festival held in Ottawa, ON Canada.

In its first year, the festival drew 19,172 people over three days, with notable performances by Alan Jackson, Lorrie Morgan, Emerson Drive, Dwight Yoakam, Jo Dee Messina, Tara Oram, Vince Gill, Randy Houser, Bucky Covington, Jetty Road, The Higgins, and Jason Roos.

Entering its second year, Capital Hoedown's entertainment lineup will feature some of the biggest names in Country Music, with a major emphasis on Canadian content.

Capital Hoedown 2011 will take place from August 11th to the 13th. Attendance is expected to reach over 45,000 people per day.
