Event Description

Eastern Ontario’s Largest Outdoor Farm Show will take place August 20 and 21, 2014. The site this year is 809 Salem Road, in Quinte West, just north of the village of Stirling at the farm of Jim and Larry Forestell. There are two non-stop days of family events. We have a Children s Tent, Family Tent, Antique displays & parade and of course the Queen of the Furrow Competition.

We have plowing for everyone, 4H plowing, antique horse and tractor plowing, media plowing, dignitary plowing, conventional plowing and oldest plow person division. Demos this year include hay and tillage equipment weather permitting.

It will be a busy two day event. Tented City covers close to 20 acres of displays of everything to do with farming.

In closing I would like to thank all committee members, exhibitors, Quinte West and staff, and especially the hosts Jim and Larry Forestell. Without their contributions this would not be possible. Thanks again and I hope to see you there.

Jim Gunning
2014 President
