Event Description

Many local people may be seeking new employment opportunities, either because of the economic downturn, process changes as a result of Covid-19, or because they want to explore new possibilities in new areas.  For those individuals who may be looking at a career change, careers in the food and agriculture industry could be a great option.

Just like at an in-person career fair, the virtual career fair, will feature virtual exhibit floors where job seekers can browse potential employers as well as job opportunities that are available, and will be able have a real-time message and face to face conversations with company representatives.

Throughout the process, attendees will also be able to communicate with each other in real-time and will also get the chance to learn more about the industry and the current/future jobs available. There will be presentations and overviews of various sectors of the industry.  Attendees will be able to do all this in the safety and comfort of their own home.

This online networking opportunity is free of charge for all participants.  If you are not great with technology, but want to participate in a career fair, the AgCareers.com Job Seeker Concierge can help guide you through the process.   To register for the event, visit AgCareers.com/feed-your-future or call the concierge at 877--438-5729 ext. 4.

USDA Official Calls California’s Prop 12 a Threat to a Unified U.S. Pork Market
