Event Description

The trend toward remote working began long ago but the pandemic has accelerated it, leaving the world of work forever changed. The migration to virtual work has caused unique and unforeseen challenges for leaders, especially in the area of performance management. Peak performance is directly correlated to specific leadership and operational practices, but poor performance can arise even when these are well executed. In this workshop, we will explore both the core leadership strategies that lead to high performance and how to address underperforming remote workers.

Pre-approved for one continuing education credit hour from SHRM and HRCI.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to establish clarity at the organization, team, and individual level
  • Setting effective goals and aligning them for success
  • Feedback and performance management best practices
  • Correcting poor performance
